Application of the Temperature Oscillation Method to Laminar Flow in Straight Horizontal and Curved Minichannels

This work deals with the application of temperature oscillation method to measure local values heat transfer coefficient in laminar flow a straight horizontal pipe and bend. method, applied here for first time such experimental conditions, uses time-varying flux as boundary condition, which is condition third kind. Since an analytical solution conditions could not be identified existing literature, numerical study this problem here. Experimental data confirm results within reasonable level error. measurements on tube are consistent predicted literature both total values. The bent tubes show very significant influence compared overall change appears increase coefficient.
